    (a) Toxicity effects of MGB-BP-3 on G. mellonella larvae at various concentrations, monitored over 5 days. (b) Survival probability of G. mellonella larvae after 5 days of treatment with MGB-BP-3 following infection with 5×10 6 CFU/mL of E. coli ATCC 25922 strain. (c) Survival probability of G. mellonella larvae after 5 days of treatment with MGB-BP-3 following infection with 5×10 8 CFU/mL of S. aureus. Larvae were administered either PBS (control-treated) or MGB-BP-3 at various doses and incubated at 37°C. A single dose of the MGB-BP-3 treatment was given 2 hours post-infection. The number of surviving larvae was recorded every day for a total of 5 days. The uninfected PBS/PBS group represents larvae that were sham injected with sterile PBS (to serve as a control for the physical injection) and subsequently treated with sterile PBS. Statistical analyses were conducted using the log-rank test, with a significance level set at (p < 0.05) for multiple comparisons.
